About Lithgold Minerals
• Lithgold Minerals controls over 649km2 of minerals tenements on the Ida Fault in the Kalgoorlie region of the Eastern Goldfields. The Ida Fault is situated 70km west of Kalgoorlie- home of the “Golden Mile”, one of the richest gold producing districts in the world. Lithgold tenements are surrounded by historical multimillion ounce gold deposits. Lithgold geologists strongly believe that the tements hold the potential to hold multimillion ounce deposits that have not yet been discovered due to thick laterite cover which requires a different exploration approach, such as using the CSIRO ultrafine sampling methodolgy, rather than the simple sampling techniques that have tradionally been used.
The tenements are also highly prospective for lithium as they fall within the so called 'Lithium Corridoor' . The Corridoor, situated along the IDA fault is where multiple lithium discoveries have been made such as the Kidman Resources’ 189Mt Mount Holland lithium pegmatite deposit, the 156Mt Kathleen Valley discovery by Liontown Resources (Mkt Cap A$5.79B), and the 308Mt discovery by Pilbara Minerals (Mkt Cap A$14.9B) - shows the potential for additional large lithium finds in the WA ‘Lithium Coridor”. Lithgold's southernmost tenement (Gecko North) is only 56km northeast of Mineral Resources’ Mount Marion operating lithium spodumene mine and shows some strking geophysical similarites.
• Lithgold Minerals Ltd recently signed a Farm-in and Joint Venture Agreement with SensOre Ltd (ASX: S3N). on the Gecko North tenement (E15/1587). SensOre must spend a total of $2.5m to earn a 51% interest in the lithium and non-precious minerals found on the tenement. Lithgold Minerals retains 100% of any precious metals found.
• In addition to Mount Marion, there are several other examples of lithium bearing pegmatite discoveries which support the proposition that the company’s tenements, lying as they do on the Ida Fault terrane boundary, may well host world class Lithium Reserves: Lionstown Resources Red Dirt Metals Venus Metals The GSWA and MRIWA sees the Ida Fault to be one of the most pronounced crustal - penetrating, fluid-focusing structures in the Yilgarn of WA -potentially hosting large scale mineralisation. In the case of gold, little or no work has been done targeting the intrusion-hosted type of deposit which in recent years has attained prominence with the discovery of such giants as Gruyere (Gold Road and Gold Fields Australia) and Hemi (De Grey). • Given the potential exists for both gold and lithium, the risk palate of an investment in Lithgold is reduced and the chances of success enhanced.
